The Author of Elm & Willow’s Adventures at Rippon Lea: Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Matt Chester, will be reading the story in the Rippon Lea Mansion sitting room accompanied by music especially written for the book played on the Grand Piano.
Inspired by Rippon Lea’s iconic Teddy Bears’ Picnic event, this delightful story Elm & Willow’s Adventures at Rippon Lea: Teddy Bears’ Picnic is illustrated by Melbourne local and friend of Rippon Lea, Joleen Jenkin. Elm & Willow are best bear friends. They set out one morning to explore the grounds of Rippon Lea and along the way meet some helpful – and not so helpful – animal accomplices.
Each ticket to the book reading includes a copy of the book. Tickets are child tickets with ONE parent/guardian accompanying free of charge.
Visitors are welcome to stay on after the story reading to further explore the gardens of Rippon Lea.
