If you have an avid interest in astronomy and are intrigued by the world of the cosmos, this event will provide an introduction to the night sky with the identification of major stars, star groups, constellations, planets and other noteworthy features. No background knowledge is required to attend the event and telescopes will be provided with an experienced member of the ASV there to lead the session and answer any questions. In the case of bad weather, the event will be postponed until 9th August. Please bring warm clothing.
